A few days ago I was speaking with a lady from Mississipi. She is a wonderful lady and has been running her own drop ship business for quite some time now. She had been telling me how much work she had been putting into it and that she was basically run off her feet. Too many hours she says. Besides that she has been having health problems, her father and father in law also have been having some very serious health problems. The rest of her family live a couple of states away and she basically has no help in dealing with any of it. Well I had spoken with her on a couple of occasions before that and I knew that she was stressed out. Long story short she ended up confiding in me all of her personal issues. She gushed and unloaded everything she had for at least fifteen minutes. I sat and listened in silence and awe at what she was telling me. I couldn't believe that a lady that had never met me, only ever spoken to me on the phone and lived half a world away was telling me all this incredibly personal stuff. By the end of the phone call I could hear that her voice had evened out and she sounded much calmer. After I hung up the phone I reflected on the call and suddenly realized that I had just made a good friend. If ever there had been a doubt in my head as to the power of networking friends and business contacts over the internet, I have put those doubts to rest. I got my first bonus check in the mail yesterday, but the the call that I had with Brenda was far greater value than any bonus check I could ever recieve. This is the best business ever.
Thanks for listening, Jay

It's so wonderful to hear that your business
is working out for you. Many people struggle
to find an online or offline business that
really pays.
Nice that you have discovered yours.
Best wishes.

What a wonderful post! Thanks Jay for reminding us that sometimes work can be rewarding in forms other than money. I'm sure she appreciated your understanding ear and getting all that out of her system I'm sure helped her feel better about her situation as well. Too often we run into the people who will pretend to be sympathetic just to prey on our vulnerableness and gain something to their advantage. It's nice to know that people like you still exist and I hope you continue your good work.
