I wrote in cursive when I was little and now its harder then I thought to write like that. I have a bad handwriting so my cursive would probably be the worst thing to attempt to read. I dnt see the point of writing in cursive no more unless your trying to not let people read it.

I like to write in cursive. I enjoy the fluidity of the hand motion, and the softness to the shapes of the letters. I used to only write in print after learning cursive and hating it in grade school, but when I was bored one day in a lecture at university, I started taking notes in cursive and slowly built my way back up to a stronger cursive writing style and have been using it ever since!

I stopped writing in cursive after elementary school. Now, I am about to become an elementary school teacher. I have to re-learn cursive for my college coursework! I even had one of those handwriting books they give kids and it was 10% of my grade.

I only write in cursive when I have to put my signature on something. I remember my 3rd grade teacher started making us write in cursive and said that that's the only way we could write from that point on and that if we got to the 4th grade and couldn't write in cursive we'd flunk. Come to find out, from the 4th grade and up, all my teachers said that they didn't want us to write in cursive because it's kinda hard to read.

I write in cursive sometimes and in print. My handwriting in cursive in readable though and I think I even write prettier. I dont think that they make such a big deal out of cursive anymore though. My kids were never taught in elementary school how to write in cursive, and its not required out of them now in middle school and high school. I guess its one of those things.

I write in a mixture of print and cursive. I never got the hang of writing in all cursive. I'm like you, What's the point of it?

I write in cursive when I still write by hand. *LOL* So much of my writing I do on the computer now, that it doesn't even matter. *LOL* My handwriting can be pretty messy when I let it, so I have to be careful. Because I want to be able to understand what I have written when I DO write the "old fashioned way". *LOL* ;)

I write in cursive. I can write faster that way. Moreover I feel it gives a mature look to what you write. When I was A kid I didn't use cursive but then everyone my teachers, and parents suggested me to write in cursive. With some practice now I can write in good handwriting in cursive. And I love to write like that too...
