When this current recession will end?

Well I don't think I will get laid off because I am the only filing clerk so they need me, but I do worry about alot of people who may suffer. Some family. Some friends. Will this be the next GREAT DEPRESSION?

I give it about 5 years, because it'really more than a recession. It's the beginning of a complete overhaul of this planet's economic system, and those fundamental changes are always prolonged and painful. It will probably bring with it a shift of wealth / opportunity from what we now know as first world countries to underdeveloped countries, which in itself is a good thing. Apart from that, mankind as a whole will have to move away from materialism, at least the exclusive focus on things material, to more basic values, like learning how to live in peace, for example.

I can't help but feel that things are going to get a lot worse before it gets better.
