If you had a family member, say a sister, who constantly lied to you all the time, and even when he/she is caught red handed and still looks straight at you and lie. To me, this is the most rudest/annoying thing any family member could do to another. It's bad enough when they lie about themselves, but when they start dragging your name into it, well it would make anyone get ripped. Does anyone deal with this and from a close member that you trust and if so, what suggestions do you have?

I don't have family members who after being told they are lying, continue to lie. Then again, the lying family members we do have, we let be, and just let them say their fill. If we think their lying we'll try to figure out if they are or not, and if they are, we don't let anything bother us by it. Now if it's about a specific family member, we'll ask.. or well, then there's the whole " I don't care what anyone thinks " because people can think what they think , the only way they'll get to you, is if you let them.

That's the attitude most people do have, who cares what anyone thinks, because those who know me, know me. Sometimes it's alot easier and less of a headache to let a lieing person have their say and then end it and move on.

i wish that i have the same mentality that you guys are having. me, i really get mad but these days i find ways to divert my attention to what is really important. that way, less arguments. anyway, lying is a habit that is difficult to remove from one's system.

Yes, that is so true, and unfortunately that's one bad habit I'm glad I don't have. I feel bad for those that have this problem forming habit.
