I have Psoriasis and it's at a mild stage and I'm taking chinese medicine to control and to get it down.
Just curious, anyone of you out there has Psoriasis? And how are you coping with it?

Yes, I have psoriasis and it's really annoying to live with. Right now I am on a medication called Enbrel. It is a needle that I inject myself once a week. My psoriasis has cleared up quite a bit but I still have issues with it on my elbows and scalp. I have has this for a long time and only recently got medication for it. I hope someday someone comes up with a permanent cure for it.

My wife is also on Enbrel for her psoriasis. She hates taking it because it usually hurts.

I have had Psoriasis for 20 years now. I have had it so bad on several occasions when it was over 90% of my body and had to be hospitalized for it. I have had 3 liver biopsy due to the Medicines I have been on and the effect they have taken on my system. I find when I am worried I break out more. I have even lost a job because of my Psoriasis. I now work in the medical field and have not had any problems with work, but I am still followed closely by my dermatologist because I have been on so many things and nothing has every totally cleared me.

Along with the chinese medicine, also learn their breathing techniques, you will find immense releif and you can keep psoriasis at bay for quite a long time. Whether the psoriasis gets cured or not, atleast it would help you stay calm !! Good luck !

I am using them from 2 years in thje first year i was regular so it showed great improvement i had only one patch left then, in the second year I wasn't that regular so they are in great numbers now
certain things that I have found which are applicable in milding them are (Although it depends on person to person).
- Avoid Drinking.
- Avoid Non-veg and eggs
- Avoid smoking as it makes ue skin dry.
- follow your medication properly
- Avoid stress, have a good night sleep.
- drink water and drink it more.
- Don't get depressed or tensed.
- think positively.
The winters are the most favourite time for the psoriasis to occur and flourish so keep your skin moist just use cocunut oil on your skin before going to bath it can help in keeping your skin moist.
I had beaten psoriasis in one season and if i can do it once I can do it again and you can also do it, so think poisitive and be happy
