relocating and working in india.

I am from the Philippines and I have been working for a call center for 6 years now. Recently, there's an opportunity for me to apply for a position in a call center in India. I do not know anyone in India but very much open to relocating. How is living in India? How are foreigners being treated in India? Is it costly to live there? What are the things that I should know before relocating? Please share your thoughts. Thanks!
