I love this movie,it is one of the best films that I watched. From the opening scene to the end , I was so moved by the love that Chris Gardner has for his son.Aa a father ,Chris Gardner tried his best to protect his son and his dream. In the end, when Chris Gardner went out of the company with tears,I can feel his excitement and emotion.Just as he said:"This part of my life, this moment part,is called happiness". Everybody needs to see ecpecially the people in this world that take everything for granted, watch this movie,it will change you!But if you watch this movie and walk out of it feeling nothing ,I can be sure that there is something that is very wrong with you.

I completely agree with you 100%. This movie will go down in history as one of the most influential movies of our time. Chris Gardner is amazing. What he did to help his family takes away the excuses of many. So many people make excuses about where they are in life. Instead of sitting and complaining about where he was, he took action. He changed the course of history for his family for generations. I recently had the privilege of hearing the real Chris Gardner speak at a business seminar this past summer. The film left out a lot of real-life details. For example, while he was homeless, his son was actually an infant (a couple of months old)-not a 4 or 5 year old as the movie suggests. Also, he told the audience that there were many nights when he did not get into the homeless shelter, so the ladies of the night (as he called them) would take pity on him. They would see him with his infant son and give him money to stay in a hotel. Chris Gardner has earned my utmost respect. Anytime I even think about complaining about something, I think of him and I an immediately thankful!
