Most of my relatives come home for the holidays and I'm sure a lot of filipinos abroad feel the same. What makes Christmas special in the Philippines? For me, it's the kids singing the carols at night.. the simbang gabi.. the puto bumbong.. the colorful parols and smiles from everyone=)

The very fact that everyone despite the differences are together. The mere presence of your loved ones is really like a gift.

What I like really about Christmas aside from celebrating the birthday of Jesus is the receiving of gifts.

What i enjoy during christmas are the lights on the street, trees and on the houses. I do enjoy decorating too and cooking foods for christmas eve and also the fireworks, last xmas we have lots of fireworks and the number one is the xmas carolings hahaha i do enjoy doing it and listening to the kids singing xmas songs. Happy posting.

Christmas here in the Philippines is very fun. You can truly feel the spirit of Christmas. The houses are full with colorful lights and decorations. The people are busy roaming around, shopping for the preparation of Christmas. Children are everywhere, singing songs from house to house. Every night you could hear the streets filled with carolings and chants of people enjoying the Christmas holiday. I can feel Christmas here already, and Im excited about it. Merry Christmas everybody.
