Language is beautiful and there should not be any abberations in reading the language. As far as possible, one should write accurately without spelling mistakes. But all said and done, the people who are in mylot are from different parts of the world, many from non-enlgish speaking countries. To compromise on this, what can be said is the message should be clear, does not matter if one or two words are not spelled properly.

I can understand if a person uses abbreviations like r for are. BUt what I CANT understand is ppl uing like R for OUR or OR. THAT is just plain ignorant & not wanting to try. Or using DA for THE. me myself I just ignore posts or anything else like that.

Not so much annoyance, but I wish the time had been taken you write out words like ‘u’ ‘r’ in full, but that’s just my personal preference, I wouldn’t hold it against anyone. As for typing errors, we all suffer from them.

I think it's very annoying when you type like that. I typically don't put much thought into writing like that, because it's clear the writer didn't put much thought into it.

Yes, I wish we had spell check here because I don't proof-read!
The shorthand and CAPS can also get annoying.
Do you have something else that is really annoying to you? Sound off on my discussion~~~ http://www.mylot.com/w/discussions/43362.aspx
