What did you compromise to be with your Love?

Comprise should be a big thing in relationship because without compromise how can people be happy. I dont thinks its about changing yourself and who you are... its about making your other half happy. Compromising meaning people doing something one person while the other person deos something for you. It keeps the couple happy and their wont be alot of arguments.
What did you hadto compromise to be with your other half? Do you know what your other half had to comprmise? What did that comproise bring to your relationship?
My partner is about to leave his country, his family and his friends to be with me. The only thing I can do to match that is to love him for the rest of our lives.

Hi there Helper!
You're right. We usually have to compromise where love in involved. I remember, I was in my third year of college when I ran away with my husband. I had to stop studying. We also lived in an undeveloped subdivision where the market is really far away from our home and we don't even have electricity and water yet. We had to get water from a well.
There were also small things like not wearing revealing clothes, going home as early as possible, and other things like that.
