When will you think that the Kids can start brushing their teeth..
The doctors are advised for the kids, when they start eating the Foods, is advised to start brush their teeth.
This may be around the age of 1 and half to 2 years old.. but not brushing the teeth after 2 years will become very bad habit of the kids, and also this will cause lots of problems for their teeth in long run..
And also those who eat the Sweets are supposed to brush their teeth with in an hour or they have take the teeth, the doctors told..
At what age do you start Brush your teeth, and at what age did you ask you Brother, sister, son or Daughter to start brush their teeth from now onwards..??

If you look in the baby section in almost any store you will see items for infant gum care that is the stepping stone for good oral hygiene. The moment to start brusing teeth is when a child first gets their first tooth.
Good luck to you and happy parenting.

I thing my son started brushing his teeth when he had quite a few teeth to brush
I don’t exactly remember the age but there are very soft baby toothbrushes available in various kids designs which they love using.
I don’t think not brushing till 2 yrs would cause a problem as these teeth will fall off and eventually the permanent teeth will come out. Also kids cant be expected to brush their teeth everytime they eat sweets, they would run away from the brushes!

In the age of 2 we ask them to brush the teeth not only for cleaning, but this is the good practice to keep the same in future.
Thanks for your responses.

You should actually clean a baby's gums after having a bottle or nursing even before they have teeth. You could use your finger or a washcloth and water.
Once a child has his or her first tooth, you should be brushing for them, using a very soft baby brush and non-flouride tooth gel. Once the child is old enough to stand up, he can stand on a stool at the sink and learn to brush his own teeth, with assistance. This is the best way to keep teeth healthy from the start and to establish the habit. That way it is not a new habit, it is just something they have always done.
