Our special song is "Up Where We Belong" by Joe Cocker and Jennifer Warnes.
Then there is "Mony, Mony" by Billy Idol which is our NOT OUR SONG song. Haha. There is a story there, hilarious to the two of us but not so much to anyone else.

We got married on Dec. 29 so on New Year's eve we were on our honeymoon. We were on the dance floor at midnight when the band did the countdown. As we kissed at midnight I whispered to him that the next song the band played would be our new song for life.
Yeah, you guessed it, the band played "Mony, Mony" for us to all dance in the new year. I should mention, my husband doesn't like Billy Idol that much and really dislikes Mony, Mony. He refuses to acknowledge it in any way as a song that has anything to do with us so I started calling it our Not Our Song song.

In one of my relationships our song was "Don't want to Miss a Thing" by Aerosmith. If I remember right I also had "Close your Eyes Forever" by Ozzy and Lita.
