Fraternity.... consider as BROTHERHOOD?

Going to college involves many changes and new opportunities.
One opportunity awaiting a new student is that of joining a fraternity.
Most students wish to become part of it because it means they will be accepted on campus, have instant group of friends
Fraternity might sound some serious risks associated with known as HAZING...
There are numbers of death and injuries caused by hazing.

yes hazing has caused deaths in some instances and many places are outlawing it now because of that as well. I do not understand why young people have to participate in such reckless behavior. They do not take precaution seriously and they think that nothing will kill them.
