Well each of us loved our selves, but there's something within us either our attitudes, our habits or any thing that make's us say, "again and again". In my self, what I really hate was my forgetful attitude, though I think it was curable, but how? It really affects my work, specially when I have to recall things that my boss has instructed me to do. Sometimes I was just holding something, a pen or any thing but in just few seconds, I have forgotten already where I put them. I really hated it, even recalling names of people I have just met and remebering the dates of my appointments was far to difficult, if those were not written. Do you have any attitudes or anything within your selves that you really hated? If you do, is it still your problem or you have just solve it, and how? I need to be cure with this scatterbrained thing.

I do have two things I really hate in me. First is quick to forget all thing that I handed a while ago. Sometimes my eyeglasses I always ask where do i put, well lately IO found it at my head. Almost all of the places inside the house has been rolled up and down suddenly I found that I already wearing it. How I hate that. The other one is very quick to be angry I always irritated with any thing that is not pleasant to me. Like if I did not follow by my kids when I give them the task to do. Or if there is somebody that makes me feels irritated like the weather it was so hot. Uneasy for me go anywhere because of the sun was too hot. I think it was caused sometimes by too many problems in life. Well ,we may say it, that's life.

We both have thesame hates in our selves, But as you have said it may sometimes the result of having too many problems in our lives. That's goes to show that those hated things always accompanied us, and some folks says that life without those are'nt normal. Though sometimes I want to believe them but there's an urge within me that those kind of delima in our selves has a treatment and that, is what I'm gonna be searching for...Thanks and take care.....

I am a very short-tempered person and that's the thing that O hate about myself the most! I get into argument with the people I love the most in life and later on I regret my stupidity! I hurt the people who love me so much this way! I seriously want to get rid of this bad habit of mine but whenever i get angry i don't listen to anything that anyone has to say! I hope to get over with this soon...

I do sometimes get mad on somethings, specially when it comes to work, where my staff are not following what I instructed them to do. I sometimes end up leaving a word that are not appropriate for a leader to say. Do I regret, the damage has been done, all that I could do, was to let them know that I did'nt mean it and I'm just mad. I try to control my emotion now for I do'nt want my staff to leave the office with wrath on mine. I think we need more patience and self-control, but I know it will took us some time to learn. Thanks and do take care...

I have the same problem with my memory. For me, I think I have ADD, although I've never been tested. My son was tested and found to have ADHD and they say it usually runs in families so I probably have it, too. Also, I have a medical condition that has hurt my memory. What I do that really helps is two things. First, I write down as much as I can, even if I think it's something that I won't forget. I can forget something in a split second! Second, I use association to remember. If someone says something to me like, "My favorite color is blue" I'll think of something about them that makes me think of blue, like picturing them with a clear blue sky or sadness (feeling 'blue'). It honestly works! If they come to me later and ask me what their favorite color is, it's easier to remember the sky or the sadness, then I remember... it's blue! Good luck!

Wow! it's great, those split seconds of not remembering things were my problem as well and writing down things to remember and associate them with other things to help us recall it, was a great thing to do. Though I'm too busy, I think your suggestion can be of great help, Thanks, I will try to give it sometime. Again Thanks a lot and do take care of your self...

That happens to me, too, Grandpa Bob. IF I have the time, I'll go through the alphabet in my head. Sometimes, 'hearing' (in my head, of course) the letter of their first name jogs my memory. Doesn't always work but most times it does.

Sounds like to much on your plate. Try to simplify multi tasking is not good, instead of doing a good job at one thing, you end up doing a poor job and several things. Also write things down, notes always help. Went I loose any thing I ask my angel to help me find it. My angel is part of my brain, nothing religious about it. Good luck

For as long as I can remember, my problem has been follow through. Getting things done. I am a great procrastinator and can always find something else that should get done instead of doing something I don't want to do or finish something I've already started. I've really been working on it but I think this is something I'll be battling for the rest of my life or at least to keep in check.

I hate my lack of willpower which I had once in abundance. Nowadays I try not to indulge in some time consuming activities but still just can't help it. Again and again I'm trapped in same cycle. Passing time and wishing I was not doing so.. Recently I tried hard to train myself and have accessed some control over me. But still have to go a long way...

Being forgetful is not something bad after all.. All u need is to write it down, and have an alarm to remind u of it, and it will be fine ^_^ U can try to store those information in your cell phone's calendar, and activate the alarm to remind u ^_^ hehe As for myself, what i hate about myself is, giving in to ple too easily.. Though, i'm someone who's very determined and dun give up easily, but somehow or other, i will find myself giving in to ple, even though i know i'm at a disadvantage.. lol =D So maybe i should be more hard hearted, in order to cure this?? hehe

I am scatterbrainy too... but I tried to be organized as possible. My boss is somewhat very particular with details and organized in so many ways. I guess, she influenced me to put things in order. Also, try to free your minds with unnecessary thoughts maybe these thoughts are blocking your memory. I tend to forget a lot, but I try to visualize where I have put stuff. I take time to rest and think where I have probably left something behind.

There are two things that I dislike about myself. First, there are moments that I can be very short-tempered. I don't like that about myself. But what can I say? I'm half Irish. It's in the DNA and there's not much I do about DNA. All I can do is try to keep it under control. Second, like some, memory is an issue for several, myself included. But in my case, it's due to the fact that I have Attention Deficit Disorder, or ADD. For those unfamiliar with this disorder, those who have ADD have short concentration span, have difficulty remembering things that they learn, and such. In most cases, it's genetic. So, unfortunately, in my case, I believe that it is. There isn't much I can do about that really.

Where do I start? Well my memory is shot. I am overly shy, disorganized, and I don't stand up for myself as I should with people, even family. I am always apologizing, and always doubting myself. I hope no one can top that.

My doctor did say that stress, and not enough sleep is the main cause of forgetfulness. And boy am I stressed. Sleep, what is that? I feel every time my husband moves, and the potty trips. I need a break.

Talking about forgetfulness, I go through it myself. I'm older now, but this problem has been there since the very beginning. I've tried very hard, but in vain. Somebody asks for something at my gate, before I've even entered the house, its gone 'poof'. I've given up on it. If you do find a way to help you get over this, do work on it. It will be great help. But this forgetfulness is not something I hate about myself. What I really hate is my lack of guts when I really want to hit out at someone for something wrong. I just don't like hurting anyone, so I just control myself. So thats it.

The thing I hate most about myself is my being disorganized. I mean I am trying to be organized, like my school stuff, i have some bins to organize stuff, some post it notebooks so i wont forget what to do, I actually bought a palm one to help me organize everything. But still I think I cant really be as organized as other people.
