Do you open your computer everyday?

I was supposed to have a thorough rest today! Someone allowed me to sleep for a whole day since I had been busy with so many things and almost got out of exhausted! Thus, it was reasonable for me not to open my computer anyway. Haha! However, I couldn't help openning it just now like an inertia! I recalled that when I visited my friends and relations, I also opened their computers for a while! On the other hand, I am not such a computerholic! I just mean that I often open my computer and others' computers. The time that I spend on it is that long though!
Do you open your computer everyday or very often? Of coure, it is another case while traveling!

I too am a computaholic, and being married to a computer programmer doesn't help. RIght now we are having our quality time together, he on his lap top and me on mine. His is a really nice MacBook Pro and I'm over here on my little tiny baby mac. Ahh life is great. What would we do without our computer fix?

Bill Gates and Steve Jobs... both remarkable men with great business models and awesome products.
I once had a chance to hear Gates speak at Comdex and was amazed at his charisma and sense of humor. I loved his mac jokes. They were great... That was many years ago, so I guess all is fair in their campaign wars... after all Mr. PC started it.

I was supposed to hear Gates' speach in Pecking university ( China)! After all, I missed it anyway! What a pity! However, I watched it on TV later! He is great!

I have to admit I am a computerholic in that case as my computer goes on every single day, without exception, that is, of course if I am away on holiday, but other than that it goes on as soon as I get up of a morning, I always shut it down completely when I go to bed and turn the electricity off, I won't leave it on standby and I don't like leaving the computer on over night.

Last year, my computer ran slowly since I used the educational internet connetion. Thus, I had to download something for a whole night. So, the computer just left along there! haha

I am on my computer Monday-Friday for work so I can say that I am online almost everyday. This is where I get the majority of my MyLot participation. As for the weekends and time away from work, I log on to my personal computer every so often but most the time I am online using my phone. I love being connected to the web through my computer or my phone.

I'm glad that you got extra rest. Hope it will give you more zip. As to the computer, I do open it most days. One could probably say that I open it every NORMAL day. Our son will be here with his wife and two sons the weekend after Thanksgiving. Those will not be normal days, and I probably will not be on the computer either that Sunday or Monday.

The Thanksgiving day will come. I almost forget it since most people don't really celebrate the festival here!
Someone told me it would be November 22nd while someone told me it would be November 27th! I get confused! Anyway, happy thanksgiving day and wish you all the best for your work!

Thanksgiving Day is November 27th this year. It is always the last Thursday in November. Although the date will change from year to year, the correct date is easy to calculate. It's not like Easter, which I never can figure out. I know it has something to do with the moon and the Jewish Passover, but I don't know what.

yeah. ofcourse. my day wouldn't end without turning on the computer. i get too much addicted to pc. especially in playing games and visiting my websites and blogs and doing stuffs like this. and when we have a homework from school, i do that thing too. although i'll do nothing with pc. i still open.

Hi, hiddenwing, for me, the answer to your question is yes.
The first thing after I arrived my office, is to open my computer, and the first thing after I come back to my house from the office , is also start the computer.
So as a matter of fact, I start the computer 2 times every day. The first time is for working, I am doing International trade, Internet is a necessary; the second time I start the computer is for entertainment, to watch movies, listen music or something alike.
But in fact I hate to spend too much time in front of the computer, it is surely not good to health. but computer has become an inevitable stuff in my life.

Yes, of course......... Everyday, I switch on the computer......... And I will be online for atleast two to three hours during college days........... And I will be online for five to six hours during holidays and weekends..........

Yes i do open my computer everyday because of mylot. I am always present in this site, and i am proud of it. I believe that it is one reason why i use computer everyday. Before i dont have things to do often but when i found this site things change drastically. Happy posting.

I use my computer a lot - not just for entertainment, but also for homework and studying. There's barely a day when I don't need to turn on my computer to research something for History, or type something up for English. I use my computer to check my averages as well. =P
I also use my computer to talk with my friend from my old school. Since we're busy, we don't have time to hang out during the week so we talk on MSN. =P
Other times, I'll use my computer for entertainment, checking the news, watching online streams, or similar things. xD
I open it up very often, but for a variety of different reasons. =P It's not just a strict activity I stick to. xD
