I'm a student on campus in China and i majoy in Chinese medicine,I also study acupuncture.I feel very interesting when I acupuncture in the frist time.
I have studied acupuncture about 2years .i think it's very efficiency. But almost person is afraid it. May be it's a pin. But other person doubt it's action in our body. I think it's availability. venation is a invisibility thing. So many peopel think it's strangeness. If you have study ,maybe you will change you ming in acupuncture and love it. what do you think about it??

I think that acupuncture is an interesting subject and it is also becoming more and more accepted in the West, simply because it gets results.
Another technique that is based on acupuncture theory (but stimulates the meridians by tapping rather than by using needles) is Emotional Freedom Techniques. You can read about it here: http://www.emofree.com/a/?3252 It is, perhaps, more related to various mind and behaviour therapies because the meridians are stimulated while repeating certain negative and positive statements.
One big advantage of EFT is that it can be wholly self-applied which puts the patient in complete control. Therapists who use it often report that problems which might otherwise take many hours of careful therapy can often be completely cleared in minutes.
