Best Friends - can you honestly say you have one BEST friend or you have more?

A few years ago, I thought I had multiple best friends, but we grew too far apart so I consider them nothing more than acquaintances or people I used to talk too. I have a couple of online friends whom I talk to almost on a daily basis, and I love them both to pieces, even though one of them is online more than the other since the other one has AP classes and is usually busy during the week, when she isn't online or playing on her wii. . .I consider the one that talks to me the most my best friend, at least online. . .even though my other friend is busy with other obligations and I understand that because her parents are pushing her to take the more advanced classes. My other friend is someone I consider like a sister to me even though we've met in person only once and it was kind of awkward since the acquaintance I know in high school whom I was hanging out with when I met my friend, was kind of trying to hog her attention since I foolishly introduce them online which I strongly regret now because I don't want my little sister-like friend to do anything with her but now that they know each other, my friend doesn't want to be mean and just completely ignore her since we both have her cellphone number. . .now I'm not the possessive friend type but this was one acquaintance I wouldn't have minded ignoring for the rest of my life after getting to know her more, if not for the fact she was too overly emotional. Making friends outside of the internet is a lot harder, since when you get too close, drama starts to happen and you have to deal with them head-on which can be really annoying sometimes. Internet drama happens too, but its not as bad since you don't have to see that person at all unless you decide to webcam.

That's great. (: I'm glad you have three friends to rely on as a support. I don't really know my best friend's family members, but I do hope to meet or visit them as soon as I learn how to drive since we basically live in the same state. For me, its harder to make friends as I get older, but it won't mean I'll stop trying. . .I've kind of lost trust in a lot of people which is one of the main reasons, but once I'm mentally ready again, I'll try to talk to more people, but its probably going to be mostly online since I'm typically the shy type.
