Would the world have been any better without George Bush as president?

I know that it's easy to criticise george Bush and his government etc. But I'm wondering. If for the past few years America had had another president, would it have made any difference? Or would things have been only marginally different?
Is it a case of just imagining that things would have been different!

Well, the world is so strange to us ,for it changes everyday. When we get up ,we see different things ,and breath fresh air. When the president of a country is talked about, there are always so many topics .Frankly speaking, if America had had another president, something might be different, but the countriy and the world will not change much.In my opnion ,a president is just a represent of a country or a group of people. But the direction of the development will not change. When a new president come out ,we always expect a lot .And later ,when we calm down ,we find that most of the world does not change actually.Life will just go on.

Yes, I would hope that it would be better than it is as of now.. No wars would be taking place like they are now. Gas prices would be lower than it is. Crime rates would drop. Teen pregnancy and abortion would diminish. There would be more jobs that will need to be given out. It would be so much that needs to be done, and it would take an president that has love in his hearts and that cares about our country to make positive things happen..
