Romantic and realistic, which is better?

Some people think being romantic is the right attitude in order to live a better life.Other people,however,think being realistic is a lot wiser.Which one do you agree?

As far as your personal life goes, you have to be realistic. You can be involved with a very romantic person who is not good for you personally...who has faults that you can't turn a blind eye to. Life is what it is and you have to face it and deal with it. Romance can be found in many different ways but it's the quality of your life and your partner that counts the most.
