If you are given the chance to choose living in a room alone or having roommates when you enter a university, which do you like better?

I chose a single room, as i need my privacy and cant stand my stuff being moved by others. I have always however been in self-catered, so I've shared kitchens and living rooms with others.

I would rather live alone. There are always problems with roommates. And it will be more problems when your roommates bring in their other friends. That is when more problems begin.. From experience, living alone would be the best option.

Alone - always. Unless I know the person very well, I prefer my own space and security. I particularly do not like being forced to share with a stranger.

I definitely need a single room. I need my privacy. And I need MY stuff to be left alone! *LOL* I need to be able to go to sleep as early or as late as I want, and to wake up as early or late as I want. And I need to be able to take my shower whenever I want to. I need to be able to do my own thing, and to be ALONE. And a roommate keeps any of those much needed things from happening!

Having roommates would be cheaper, but I prefer to live alone. I like my privacy and would like to keep my friends. I have seen way too many friendships, more so with women than men, get ruined by living with roommates.

A single room! I also would like my privacy. Might be boring alone though but it's what I prefer better.
