empty, boring house!

Oh yes, you are so right Dawn... grandma's sure know how to spoil their grandkids! LoL! I'm sure your house is pretty quiet about now without them home to drive you up a wall! :) My son has been pretty good at doing that to me lately, with just turning 14 last week he is really trying my patience sometimes as he tries to become more independent yet still wanting me to do so much for him at the same time. I remember those years growing up and I would not want to repeat them myself for the life of me! It is such an awkward stage in life. My son is over 5'10" now at age 14 with size 12 men's feet! I think he is still trying to figure out how that happened! LoL! Well, try to relax and enjoy your quiet house Dawn. Take care... they'll be home before you know it! Take a nice hot bath tonight, turn off the lights and maybe use some candles to relax. Try to spoil yourself for a change as mom's don't get to do that very often.

This is a good time to relax and get your strength for next week lol.

LOL Even though the kids could be a headache sometimes (because of the fights) but we surely will miss them when their gone even for just a day. Children lights up the house and they make it full of life and happiness! Anyway, I'm sure the kids are enjoying their short visit with their grandma from the way you said it. That sounds like heaven, well this week anyway. It will give you time to relax and some own time. I feel like you though when the children are away. It is to quiet without them. I usually get bored as well. Enjoy the rest of this week Dawn as you will need it for next. Take care.

Ah that must be quite comforting. However it probably might get a bit boring after a while. Good to have a break before the big rush of holiday stuff and what not though.
