is love is greater than friendship??

when i am doing my bachelors ..i had a friend and we are so close to each other,in less time we become good friends..not good best friends.. later i started loving her..but for her i am only best friend..she never thinked further about our relation..i dont want to loose her friendship by expressing my love..
i think friendship is greater than love.
what do you peole say?? am i right or wrong what should i do.!!

This is a dilemma for you. In my opinion, both love and friendship are important. Does your friend know that you are loving her? Because it's risky to confess your love to your friend. If it's a failure, then your friendship might be at risk too. This is quite subjective but it the outcome is different, depends on individuals. It's up to your friend to make the decision. If she love you too, then it's great. But if she can't, do not resent and respect her decision. Be her good friend.

yes off course both love and friendship are equally important but friendship overcome love...coz even love fails without friendship..

Ya, most of us are aware that love and friendship are equally important. But your case is special, because both of your love and friendship are within one person. Good luck to you on the relationship. What you said is very true, love also start with friendship.

When it is a situation like that I would say the friendship is better than love because if the love isn't returned then the friendship is great. I think if you don't want to lose the friendship and if she doesn't feel the same way then keep the feelings to yourself.

thanks u very much ..yes as u said friendship comes fisrt than love..and i dont want to loose my best friend for the love.. and i hope one day she will recognize my love..
