"Mom, I want to try pumpkin pie."
So we go to Marie Callendar's for lunch.
"Mom, I don't like it."
So I eat the pie (without whipped cream because that's how he ordered it).
Two weeks later:
"Mom, I think I like pumpkin pie after all."

Haha, interesting what made him/her change him/her mind about the pumpkin pie? Did you cook one for him/her?
Sorry about the him/her thing I don't know his/her gender.

I'm not sure, Cary has autism and sometimes his thought processes are a bit different!

I see well that explains it then. It's amazing how they think. Autistic children are usually geniuses. Am I right?

Some are but not all. My son is bright but so far I don't see anything to indicate that he's a genius!

Yup, kids always dislike everything even after they have tried it. They don't want us to know that they actually like something that is good for them.
