What is a true friend?

A true friend will be there for us in thick and thin. They will stand up for us. They will respect us. They will trust us. A true friend is one that woulkd do most amnything for us I feel. No man or woman is worth your tears. The only one who is, will never make you cry. If you love someone, put their name in a circle, instead of a heart. Hearts can break, but circles go on forever. Everyone hears what you say. Friends listen to what you say. Best friends listen to what you don't . If all my friends were to jump off a bridge, I wouldn't jump with them. I'd be at the bottom to catch them. Don't frown, because you never know who's falling in love with your smile ! It takes a minute to have a crush on someone, an hour to like someone and a day to love someone---but it takes a lifetime to forget someone. Found this and it does describe my beliefs. A true friend is someone who is always there for you no matter what. I thought I had found a best friend, but she turned around & stabbed me in the back & it was always about her. We are still friends, but not like we were. When I am with her I feel uncomfortable so I try not to talk to her much which is awful I know, but I always think of the past & just cannot forgive her this time. I would consider my husband to be also my best friend & definitely a true friend.

A good friend is someone you know that you can rely on in all times. Someone that you know will not let you down no matter what. I think that being a good friend also helps in keeping a friend. We all need friends. It is just a part of life and it would be lonely without them. I do believe that a friend should stay loyal. That is important to a relationship. Throughout life we meet many people and it is through friends that we can gain wisdom and strength especially if we are going through hard times.
