how to make toy helicopter

i was trying to make little helicopters at home for many years but i failed.
i used little motors collected from toy cars but they do not help flying the copter
using the fans.
it crashes and cannot fly for weight.
are there any guideline to make nice little copters at home? or are there any site
helping in making real tiny copters?
