As announced today on ESPN, Mike Mussina officially retired. I am very surprised considering he is only the second pitcher to retire after having a 20 win season the year before. Do you think he belongs in the Hall of Fame? How will this affect the Yankees? Will they be going after more pitchers now?

I really dont know if he has done enough to get in the Hall of Fame personally. I was surprised to see he had retired after such a good season and thought he would of gone on a few years yet.
As for the Yankees I think they will be going for more pitchers now- I think they are trying to get Sabithia in but I am not 100% certain about that.

They surely are out to get CC Sabathia, $140 million offer and all. However, according to reports, CC seems to be looking to stay on the West Coast, rather than travel back East.
