So I am watching TV tonight and in the intro to the show the girl says "As the General always told us, marriage is the only way you can get to sleep with your enemy"
Do you believe this?

NO, I don't believe it, of course, it sounds so hilarious, but marriage is a lifetime commitment of two people who are in love, it is in that state that we have to spend the rest of our lives with our chosen partner. It is supposed to be a happy union and not a nightmare. Well, maybe some people try to define marriage that way because their union gone sour, but not all marriage stories went into drain, there are marriages lasted and had a very happy ending.
Marriage is a choice, so in order for us to avoid the Julia Roberts' movie "sleeping with the enemy", we must make a wise decision, after all nobody forces us to plunge into marriage, it is a free-will. I am lucky that up to now I am still single, so that I can decide wisely. Whatever happened to the marriages of other people, my own definition of falling in love and eventually get married did not change, I still believe that every one of us has capable of fulfilling the eternal myth, "..and they lived happily ever after".

But maybe a husband can be your worst enemy if he is abusive to you, weather physical or mentally.
