Have you experienced an "AGAINST ALL ODDS" relationship?

When I was in college I used to stay in a dormitory (run by nuns). The said dormitory has two buildings , one for boys and one for girls. We have this what we call"community" where all dormitorians (boys & girls) gather together to pray, hear mass, eat meals and attend social functions. The sisters made the rule for all the dormitorians that we are not allowed to have an exclusive relationship to any member of the community. We all understand it but sometimes we can't avoid instances where we girls fell with the boys or vice versa. During my 3rd yr col. I fell in love with one of the boys in the dormitory and I felt that he feels the same. I tried to avoid the feelings and i tried to avoid the guy so not to entertain our feelings but its very painful and difficult. Then suddenly i started to hear rumors about the two of us. Rumors that we're having relationship and exclusively dating. But to tell you honestly we did not. Though the guy admitted that he loves me and wants me to be his girlfriend and much as i want to i couldn't coz i know if we did it will have a big effect on our studies(because we're both scholars that time). Now everytime I saw our picture together, it reminds me that ones in my life i felt love and its against all odds.
