he could repair an old christmas curtain into a sofa cover. He does sewing jobs here in the neighborhood for people like me, no gift in sewing. All I wanted was he cut the big curtain into two and sew it on my two sofas. He said it will cost me $2. I agreed because I thought it was fair enough. It was an easy job. Yesterday, when I arrived from a trip...one of the sofa's had been covered already...the house help says, the man will just come back to get the $5 payment. I asked the help why only one has been covered, she said there's no more cloth....What happened? There were more than enough cloth and we only agreed on $2...oh,even for $2-do we need to to have a contract? I am still waiting for the man to come by...I would really like to talk to him...my husband doest want me to...he says pay him and let him be...not to have another job for him. Should I do what my husband says?

Oh boy that's more than half way the prize you just agreed, maybe you should talk the dressmaker to come up with an honest fair prize. I have few instances though, that I was overprized usually when I buy or order some pair of shoes or something like that, when the product was in my hand I was told that I would pay the other charges which the dealer fail to mention at first, still I would insist that it wasnt the prize we have agreed on, compromise agreement always works on me though.
