Mineral makeover

I have so much fun watching how to's in fashion websites that includes application of makeups. I even watch video clips on how to's but despite the emergence of so many makeup choices, I could not find a product that does not melt easily and blotch. I love mineral make up because of it's glow but do you have any suggestion on maintaining the makeup for longer time?

It really helps the staying power of mineral makeup if you apply moisturizer to your face about 10 minutes before you want to begin makeup application. This gives your skin time to absorb the moisturizer so that your brushes won't drag and leave streaks when you apply your makeup. Also, you can buy an Evian water spray to set your mineral makeup once it's applied. The sprays are available at Sephora (3 bottles, each 1.7 oz for about $16.50). Happy MyLotting!

I think mineral makeup last longer than other make up, so you dont need to worry about this. the glow will fade eventually, but the make up are still there. I cant think a way to maintain the glow but to put some more.

I don't but I think that mineral makeup should be pretty long lasting. It is supposed to be some of the best. I don't wear it often enough to help you out with this.

I do very much enjoy the mineral make-up. My skin feels like it can breath with it on & I don't feel all icky & gooey. I don't get those lines either where you forgot to blend it into your neck! But you are right, it doesn't last quite as long as regular make-up so I usually need to touch it up here & there. I will tell you that I was doing hair at a friend's house for a wedding & the girl that came to do the make-up for the wedding party had this stuff she sprayed on the girls after she was all done with them & it made their make-up last longer. But I was so busy that I never got the chance to ask her what it was or even what it was called. I am sure you can probably find something like it here online or at the make-up dept. Don't know how expensive it would be though!
