which one is better- A DOG or A CAT??

I have had both a dog and a cat. I love cats - they are so on their own - like me I guess. However a dog is more usfull since they need exersising wich benefit you as a man/woman and the health. A dog is however a lot of work. Training, exersising three times a day, vet costs, food costs so forth. A cat are a bit cheaper. Now, I am going to get my self a cat as a pet when I am going in pension and need the company. But for now, it is no time for any pets, even if my son would like to have one.

I would have to say a dog for my family. We have tried cats but it just did not work out too well for us. I love dogs and am more partial to them.

I think a dog is better. Cats are nice too but i prefer dogs myself. they are mans best-friend. you can play with them more vs a cat but a cat can take better care of it self vs a dog. a cat is more a like a "pet" and a dog is more like having a kid on four legs. lol not to say that cats are peoples "kids/babys" too but really, dogs are just like having kids and cats are better behaved then dogs sometimes.. so lol hygiene wise i am not really sure... cat clean them selfs but really how clean do you get from licking yourself? and dogs get actual baths... you can also brush your dogs teeth (at least i do mine) i'm not sure about cats.. i guess you could but i think it would be harder... you have a litter box that smells (in less you have an outside cat) so i think dog a is also cleaner.

from your question i think you have reduced the answer itself to one. it should always be the dog at least for its good characters.

I think having a dog as a pet is more better. They are much sweeter and fun that cat. Dogs know how to please their owner. they can be taught with different tricks and also they are funny, they are so angry with their reflections in the mirror. I am a dog lover. I have 20 dogs at home in different breeds.Happy Mylotting!

Hi frnds, I don't like cat. i like dog. For me dog is better, dog is frndly dog is good guarding the house dog is dareness.

Cats are better. Cats are wonderful and independent. They don't need to be taken out for walks. They come already house broken. If a cat want attention yo know it loves you.
