Don't you just hate it when everything seems to be going good and all at once Poof ? Shawnee had a program at the school tonight so when we got ready to leave I shut my computer down , It had been acting just fine . Nothing to indicate any kind of trouble with it at all.I came home from the program (which was wonderful by the way) turned my computer on and nothing. No power what so ever. I changed cords and tried again. nothing . So to make a long story short i changed the cord 3 different times . Nothing. This is the one My hubby just built at tax time. Does anyone have any ideas what could be the problem? Why it would do that all of a sudden when there hasnt been any trouble with it ?

That happened to me a few Years back I had to reformat the Computer, as a Virus had got onto it But if you can't even switch it on then I really do not know what the Problem is You could still have a Virus but it sounds like you might have to take it in for repairs I have not had any Problems with Viruses since I downloaded the free Antivirus that I have used now for 6 years I really hope you will get it sorted Jodi

We have a family thing tomorrow , the kids great grandmother will be there. And we get to have some 5 generation pictures. After we get home I think I am gonna make Rob take to to try to help me figure it out. What bothered me was the no warning that anything was wrong. Thanks gabs dear for your response..

Yeah we tried that as well Robbie seems to think the power supply crashed all at once. So as soon as we can we will order a new one and try it . Which anti virus program do you use. I am scared not to have one the way things are these days. All the comps here have one.

I do hope that you will be able to get it sorted if a Virus was on it when you turned it of there would not have been a warning Sweetie If I was there in front of it I would probably be able to figure it have you tried plugging it into a different Plug Socket ???

there can be many reasons. the simplest reason is that the cord is no longer working. there can be some wear and tear. also there can be some problem at the point of power reception in computer.

I tried 3 different cords on it and that didnt help . I opened it up and cleaned it hoping that would but didn't help either.
