Flip flops VS Sneakers

Which do you prefer to wear most of the time? Going to work, I wear a snekers. When I got to my working station, I change my outside clothes to my OR/DR uniform and OR/DR flipflops. I'm a nurse and being part of the OR/DR department in the hospital, protocols should be observed like changing outside clothes to more cleaner uniform and not expose to dirt outside. That way we maintain the sterility of the area for our patient and staff protection aswell. But I'm more comfortable wearing flipflops and my feet can breathe unlike wearing sneakers with or without socks, I felt that my feet wants to breakfree even when I tie the shoestrings not too loose and not too tight. I like wearing flipflops when going to the mall or visiting a friend to their house that way I can remove my flipflop and sit comfortably like indian sit. But of course wearing sneakers can be comfortable too especially when I'm enganged into sports activity or hiking and having a long walk to a rocky road.
