After having experience using the four brands, I would say Canon is the best. How about you, what do you think is the best?

I currently have a Brother printer and it is reliable but the ink cartridges are pricey. It needs four different ink cartridges and they cost about £35. It is my fifth printer that I had since I bought my first computer in 1999. My first printer was a Lexmark one with expensive ink cartridges. Then I got an HP printer when that broke. Next I got a Canon printer and that had cheap ink cartridges and I was sad when it broke. So I got another Canon but that broke. I bought a Brother and it has proved its value. Canon is the best but the top printers they make are pricey. I got a Brother printer much cheaper with a screen for viewing digital photos. It does scanning and is a stand alone capable photo copier.

Yes, new printers have a screen preview of what you are going to print. You can also print without a computer, you can print from flashdrive or memory card. Technology keeps on improving. Thanks for your response.

My first printer is also HP, but it's ink cartridges are expensive and it's not that fast in printing compared to canon. But I would agree that it's the best in terms of quality printing. But overall, I still go for Canon. Thanks for your response.

I am using Brother All in One printer because these printers are really dirt cheap...consider that an AIO cost only $50 with all 4 ink tanks in the package...it is a good bargain...however, the cheap price is to compensate the heavy ink consumption of this printer...Canon however is a better option when you look at ink tank prices and efficient ink usage...

All printers Stink! We have gone through alot of differnet brands in our company. We have stuck with Lexmark for the past couple of years but the Ink is expensive. Havent seen an Epson since dot-matrix printing. We had canon here but they broke pretty fast. That or the chip inside used to creep out of place and stop printing. HP we've used and most of the time they have paper issues where it can't pick up the paper. Most of the printers are used by secretaries so they do get alot of use out of them. Well these just my experiences with those brands of printers. Havent used brother so no opinion on them :)

ive been using epson printers for over 5 years now. cartridges are cheaper than other brands and consumes longer than others. the ink is where you can save not the printer.
