Time off. Take it from me. Being a house bound homemaker, my exposure to the world outside is almost nil at this point of time. From morning till dawn I am confine to the perimeters of my house compound, creating my own little world of friends and fun only through the web and have not met or mingled with my long lost physical friends. Before insanity sets in ruining and killing my cells I have to step out and take a short break from activities here that has deprived me of the latest gossips and happenings outside. I felt I have almost turned robotic surfing the net endlessly not realizing that I am missing out a lot of wonderful and exciting things in this physical world.
But mylot is too close to my heart that I am almost reluctant to leave as I will be missing some of my dear friends here whom I have come to admire and like. This place has become my second home where I can speak my mind out and get an almost instant answers to my questions, doubts and unsolved mysteries in life. Friends thank you for being there as I am gonna miss you all. I'll be missing your interesting discussions and rest assured that I'll come back soon to make up for the lost time. Happy mylotting

I'm perfectly in good shape. Since it is the year end school holidays here I need to fetch my daughter from the boarding school which is miles away from where I stay and also to go back to my other house which I deserted for few months now. This place where I am now is where I run a business.

Zandi458,
You will be missed. I have come to respect your perspective on a wide variety of subjects. I hope you realize how smart you really are. You have a gift in your ability to communicate at several different levels. You have stimulated my brain several different times, and have made be take a deep look at my own beliefs and perceptions in so many areas.
Thank you for the interaction. Hope to have you back soon, but, I learned along time ago that it is absolutely required that you take time out of each and every day for yourself. If a little time each day is not practical, then in a given week, you must give yourself a straight, no interruptions, no excuses, escape from the rigors of everyday life. Failure to do this, as you now feel, will lead to a melt down on several different levels. If this occurs, you will not be able to help or support or be there for anyone. I promise you that once you establish this time as part of your routine, it will become easier to make that time for yourself. You may end up finding even a little more time for just you.
You are a treasure Zandi458, and we need people like you in this world. It is individuals like you that make a difference, so, take care, stay healthy, and know that you are loved.
Your Friend

Sweetness can cause sickness. Praise is sweet, but too much of it can cause one to be sick. Right. Thanks for your comments. Yes, that is the best thing for me to get a rested mind before I journey further in my writings here. I just love to interact with people from all walks of life especially people like you who are well experience in life. We are always thirsty for new ideas and knowledge and you can fit in well with that kind of thoughtful ideas that you have in you. May we meet again here in some interesting encounters.

I was just feeling that way today,
while washing up the supper dishes.
I can't remember the last time I went out
to do anything meaningful.
Feels like my life is just passing me by.
And, I'm not sure it's amounting to anything.
But, I love my friends on Mylot.
It's also my second home.

Hi zandi! You're funny too! I hope you're venture out into
the world was fun for you! I hope it wasn't too scary out
there because sometimes it can be! I too am home most of the
time and now that it is getting really cold here I am more
than thrilled to spend my time indoors and here with my
mylot friends. I only wish that I had known about mylot
sooner. Although last winter I was still going to day rehab
everyday from 10-2 and by the time I got home I just wanted
to go to sleep! It was extremely emotionally draining! But,
not that it's over with I am home most days and looking forward
to spending more time inside this winter except when I have
no choice but to brave the cold for appointments and outside
chores! So I hope you enjoyed your adventure!

It's not quiet healthy to just stay at home and ignore the world. Take some time off, and we hope to see you back here soon. Cheers~
