Do You Bake Bread?

Do you bake bread? Do you usually bake plain ones, or you would add something inside? Are you creative in making them? Or just follow some recipes online?

I love baking my own bread, I've never been lucky enough to have a bread maker but it's so easy to do by hand as well. Usually I just make plain rolls, loaves or baguettes, either white or wholemeal. Sometimes, I add some cheese to the dough, or I make a greek olive bread to have with a main meal. I've tried making sweet fruit bread, but it never turns out very well. I think making savoury bread is a lot easier than sweet!

Food coloring doesn't sound too appealing to me, maybe you ask her to try making some of these breads here, sure her kids will like them: http://icookeverything.com/index.php?option=com_facileforms&ff_name=ReviewList&Itemid=-1&ff_param_section=9&ff_param_cat=37&ff_param_limit=10&ff_param_order=SubmissionDateNew

Up until a few years ago, I used to always prefer to make my own breads. I have recipes that were my grandmother's and some of them make 6 loaves at a time, and others 12. I mostly make white breads, french breads and like that. I like also brown breads, oatmeal & different raisin breads. One thing I don't make, or eat, is whole wheats and breads like that; I might like the taste but they literally make me ill. I got one of those breadmakers a few years back and now I don't make as much as I used to. Nothing like the taste and smell of fresh home baked breads!!

True, I think home-made breads are really interesting and taste a lot better!

I do, not every day, not anymore that is, but yes. My favorite is multigrain sourdough with rosemary. No, I never bake it plain, always creative. I grind the grain fresh, too.

I occasionally make bread. My favorite bread is a cinnamon swirl loaf. I haven't made it in a couple of years. My husband likes pumpkin nut bread and pecan loaf, which I make once in a while. I'm not all that creative when it comes to cooking. But, I do like to cook and bake. I just follow recipes.

I like to bake bread, usually just plain white or wheat bread. Of course, that is something that I haven't really done recently; hopefully, I will be able to go back to baking bread again soon.

I have a bread machine which I like to use when I can. I will be able to now that my husband is home more and we eat at a normal time. I usually make plain bread but I have made banana bread and a few other sweet breads. I have never used a recipe from online for bread.

I would love to bake my own bread... but the problem is... i do not have an oven... so when i finally get one of my own... i would surely try baking... not only bread... but other cakes and pastries as well... my sister-in-law is good at baking... and i love the smell of her home when something is baking in the oven...

I have a bread machine but it is out of work. I may make some bread at home in the future as I like cooking. I have a good oven at home. Perhaps this weekend I will make some for my family:) Since making bread isn't so easy and I am not a professional chef. So I will follow the recipes to avoid any mistakes:) I love China

I remember you have a bread machine, but it's broken? Oh, too bad. If you follow recipes, here might be some interesting ones for you to try *winks*: http://icookeverything.com/index.php?option=com_facileforms&ff_name=ReviewList&Itemid=-1&ff_param_section=9&ff_param_cat=37&ff_param_limit=10&ff_param_order=SubmissionDateNew
