Arsenal have confirmed that winger Theo Walcott will be sidelined for at least three months with a shoulder injury. The 19-year-old forward picked up the injury in Berlin on Tuesday during England's training session ahead of their international friendly with Germany.Walcott was taken to hospital in agony after suffering the dislocation as he fell in the rain at the Olympic Stadium.how badly is this going to affect already troubled arsenal side.

Theo has been the lifeline of Arsenal this year. Teams have struggled to keep up with the pace of the youngster. Even with that, Arsenal are having a mixed run with some high profile wins and then lacklustre defeats against bottom of the table teams. I think this is going to badly hurt Arsenal's showing in the Premier League this year. I think at the end of the day, they are going to end in the fourth spot this year!! Cheers! Ram

I didn't know about this until I read your discussion. What a waste! I think Walcott has been performing quite well in this season, and he's always the main player now. I think Bendtner can't substitute Walcott's position.

i think he will be a great loss to arsenal. depsite his young age, he is really talented and has explosive pace and a difficult player to contain. wenger is expecting him to cement his first team place and now this has to happen. i think wenger would have to adjust his team selection now as his young side is built on exciting, fast free flowing attacking soccer.
