On my opinion,I hope i can stay in the childhood, though i'm only 16 years old I think i have to lose many things with the time pass. Some people who loved me have been dead. Some friend who often played ,studied, talke something with me have changed.many thing in my all around was not fine any longer.Even though seems to me to lose myself.I lost my confidence, became egotism. I hope i can go back, laugh in the sunshine as a kid instead of worrying about my future.i hope i still don't know all of the world instead of standing in the place where full of desire.

if only i could stop the time or if i could turn back time. I would rather choose being child than being adult. Childhood for me is one of the happiest and wonderful stage of my life. It's free from worries and problems, all you have to do is to play and to be happy. When i was a kid, simple things would make me happy. I am contented on what i had. I was free from worries and never thinked of what would to do in the future just come what may. Unlike, today that i am adult right now, full of responsibilies to be done and lot of trials to overpass in order for you to reach your goal. For me, childhood is a wonderful experience that wouldn't be forget and remains memorable until the end of time. keep on mylotting!

You have the right attitude. I often think how much easier life was when I didn't have to worrying about working and paying all of the bills. Now I live on my own and think, how much simplar life was when I was about 8 years old. I did start to realize the challenges of life when I was about 11. My father passed when I was only 2 and I think by that time my mom was tired of struggling with children. So she pretty much just let me try to raise myself. It was quite a challenge. I was in sports and other school activities. I would have to try and find a ride home and to different functions from time to time. We lived in a small town that was about 30 minutes from the city where I went to school and where all of the shops were. Even when I was older, I couldn't get a job because I had no way for transportation. It was so good to get out of that little town. It is still that way today. And it has become even more impovershed than it was at the time when I was growing up. I feel bad for any child whose dad or mom does not have a good job and doesn't provide for them properly. Life is hard enough without having to worry about such things at such a young age. Thank you for starting this discussion, and have a great day!

In my opinion it's all in your mind! You can have 35 and feel like 20. As for me I feel like 18. Indeed there are periods when the outside world does some changes in us, but that's until we find our safe place where we can be young again :D Dunno about you, I think this way! Best regards, Octavian

It sounds like you have been having a tough time, although being a child might seem the safest option at the moment you will soon get fed up with it and want what everybody else does .Take a deep breath take the ball out side and allow yourself an hour a day to be a child everyday.Life is for the living and you have a lot of it to get through so get on with it and maybe alittle help from family, friends, ect.

If only I could turn back time... Being a child is full of happiness and privileges. I missed my childhood days where I don't have to worry about the complicated things. The days when my father used to let me sit on his lap and comfort me when I was so afraid or upset. I missed the days when my father used to take me to there fishing place and enjoy the nature. I missed everything about my childhood. I'd rather be a child who is so carefree than struggle to face the reality in this very complicated world.

I aslo want I could go back, stay in my childhood. But it is impossible thing. When we are all young ,there are two ways to express our emotion, happy ,or not happy. but when we grow up ,all the things become more complex than before .You have to worry about your work, your lover, your family ,your mind couldn't be express by this simmple word any more.Childhood is the most luxury time in our lives,we couldn't go back ,but we can keep it in our memory .

Yes its truly understandable. I mean who wouldnt want to be a child once again? Free from all worries and everything. Memories of being a child especially if we had a comfortable upbringing tend to make us want to stay that way. But certainly there would come a time when you just have to realize that we all have to move on with life. Uncomfortable as it is, we just have to face the fact that nothing in this world is permanent. Friends comes and goes, loved ones die, among other things... But being adult is not bad at all. Just stick with whats right and not ever doing things that would harm others you'll be on your way to living a happy adult life.

I am only 15, but i cannot wait until i turn 18. I dont like people having any control over me, and once I am 18, my parents won't be able to control anything I do. It isn't that we have a bad relationship or anything, its just that I want to be independent. But i do think that there is a lot more stress and hard work when one is an adult. being a child, the only main things i need to take care of are my grades in school. As an adult, there are bills to pay, more work to do, and just overall, more things to worry about. But there is also no one telling you what to do. So even though my parents do have control over me, it is still a lot easier than being an adult.

Today many times in certain situations I feel like I would have been still in my childhood days, I wouldn't had to worry so much about tomorrow. Many close friends have married and gone their way to settle in life. But I treasure those old days and think very good about the present to make a bright future. I'm very excited, as the future has lots of exciting things for me.

I like being an adult however I miss being a child at play sometimes. As an adult I have more responsibilities and worries. Childhood and youth are very fleeting. The time can go by so fast and before you know it you are grown up with problems to face. If you are mature as an adult then you can probably handle things better. Being a child was so much easier because the parents have to worry about the bills and so forth. Now I am married with a child of my own but I can say that I am content with my family life. But I still think about my past once in a while and wish I could go back.

I understand your feelings. I love being a child when I was a child and it was amazing time for me. I will always cherish the memories that I had but you have to remember that the future is what you make it. It can be really great and very enjoyable. It is what you make of it and what you are willing to invest into yourself.

When i was a child , i hope i would grow up to be a adult.Because being a child,i have no freedom.I have no money to buy the toy i liked.I have to ask my parents if i can go out. However, when i am growing up now,i want to go back to childhood.Adult means responsibility, pressure and more troublesome, childhood is so simple.

We should all be thankful that we get to experience both in our lifetime. It's kinda weird when during your childhood years, some would dream of being an adult, on the other hand, some adults would love to go back to being children again. I'm 22, I think I'm still somewhere in between of being a child and an adult. I'm now working, making my own decisions and facing the everyday stress and perks of being an adult, but sometimes, I still feel like a child, my mom still scolds me, my grandma will still tell her stories to me, I still watch my favorite disney and nickelodeon cartoons and eat my ice cream with the goo still oozing my mouth, I think I have the best of both worlds and I have nothing to say but to keep facing adulthood maturely and reminisce childhood memories. I believe there's always a kid inside of us :) nothing's wrong if you feel like going back back to being a kid again. :p
