If you would have asked me 2 weeks ago what the best online job, or work at home I have had, hands down would have been ChaCha! ChaCha is a answering text service, where people text on their cell phones any question they wish answered. As a ChaCha Guide, I researched their question on the internet and provided them with the best answer possible. I started in August and making about $3 an hour though by October I was making $9 an hour.
Just before this I had lost a delivery job, the economy is rough and this ended up saving me temporarily. That is until out of the blue, I stopped receiving questions. I checked the forums and sure enough this was happening to many. It has been 2 weeks and at best I receive 1 question every 15 minutes, not even a dollar an hour. To make matters worse, I have been demoted from .20 a question to .10 a question. Needless to say, it is pointless for me to continue this especially with the lack of communication ChaCha displays. The forum is blowing up with unhappy people. Now I find myself in the same position I was in August.
What are, or is the best online job, or work at home in you opinion?

I think the best online job is to be a write novel on the net, because some novel on the net is not free.you can get money from your novel.some friend of mine can get at least 100yuan from their novels each day . But it may take a long time to think over you should write what type novel to attract people 'attention,it is really not a easy thing.

Thats too bad! I've been trying to get into ChaCha for over a year, through friends who use it, through the site directly, etc. I even got an invitation from someone who was recruiting. I suppose that like every other company they are suffering too and have cut down to get their costs under control. If you find something let us know. I think most of us are trying to honestly earn some money on the side to get us through. Good Luck!

I am a bit sad about the cha cha thing as well. I wish they would come out with answer on why so slow. I do VT/EX
I also work for several call centers at home a bit of inbound and a bit of outbound. If you don't mind phone work, it is there http://wahjobs.blogspot.com has a listing of call centers.

If you like to write, the best place ever is Associated Content. I have been a member for a few months and at first, I started writing a few articles every now and then to see if I actually would get paid. When you first start with them, it may take a week before you get an upfront offer on your article (yes, they pay upfront for articles $3-$20) unless they are poetry, fiction or opinion pieces. After you agree to accept what they are offering, it usually takes 24 hours or less before the payment is in your Paypal account.
I have written 36 pieces, some of which I did not get paid for because they were poetry or opinion pieces, but I have made very good money. You not only get paid upfront but you also get $1.50 for every 1,000 hits. This goes up as your clout does and clout goes to 10. I am at 5 right now and trying to get further.
It is a fun site, because you get to meet lots of people, just as you do on here, you can write about anything you want and you have the chance to not only make money upfront, but also for views. And they definitely pay. However, don't expect to get $20.00 for an article as soon as you start. They usually start you out around $3 - $3.50 and then you work your way up. It also depends on the articles you write. If you write something that has a short shelf life, such as news or celebrity gossip, whatever, you will get less money than if you write about how to make rugs or relationship pieces, things people will search every day.
The only down side to this site is that they can become backed up and you never know when you're going to get an offer, however, the longest I've had to wait is a week and a half and the least is 3 days. To me that's better than waiting for the end of the month.
I have written everything from poetry, to celebrity gossip, news and health articles. Sign up - it's free, fun and they do actually pay which is refreshing nowadays. If you, or anyone else who sees this, wants to give them a try do me a favor and tell them I told you about the site so that I can get a reward. Also, at the very least, check out my articles. I get paid for PPV's so any viewing will help. If you do end up writing on there, let me know and I will be sure to check out what you have written.
