Friends or Family?

Something like this makes me wonder why she doesn't want to stay at home. When I was a kid and my stepdad would call me horrible names you bet I didn't want to be at home! You should talk to your friend find out why she doesn't want to be with her family.

it's really sad when people do not feel comfortable in their own home. how can you even call it a home if you feel you "have" to run away from it all the time? i hope that it's just a phase for your friend, and that like all phases, it'll change in time...but your frined will really need to resolve her issues at home. she would have to face her problems head on because running away from it will not help her, it would only make matters worse. if she really is your friend, you would be able to tell her anything and everything and she would be able to take it without offense. it really just depends on how you tell her. so let her know your thoughts, just choose your words carefully and let it come out as naturally as possible. as long as it's heartfelt, i'm sure she will understand, and hopefully, she will take your advice.
