Apart from the child birth please as I know that it will always be in the first place as the most painful experience.

I haven't been under scissors, I haven't been admitted in a hospital, I haven't had anything serious in life, no severe wounds, accidents or cardiac problems. But I have had heart breaks which resulted in excruciating emotional pain leading to physical discomfort. And trust me, those physical hurts were irreversible and kind of consistent. I could never actually mange those physical hurts!

There's nothing as nice as someone who shares, your laughter, your secrets, your wishes and cares, someone who's there through your good times and tears, who stays by your side as your friend through the years I am much better now....all because of friends like you.

A liver biopsy that i went through a few years ago. The monet the need le pinched my liver, the pain was so much that it needed one person each to hold down my limbs. To add to it they did not get it right the first time and i had to endure it for an extended session.

Hell ! I have never seen myself react in such a way as i did in those 20 minutes Bala. If those people had not held down my hands, my self defense mechanism may have sent that doctor to Hell. It took a full year for that discomfort to subside.

I was run over by a car. My left thigh was crushed,(doctors had to remove six inches of bone and insert a metal pipe), my upper gum-bone was broken causing all of my upper front teeth to fall out, they re-inserted all but one which was never found, and my mouth was wired shut for 3 weeks. I was in excruciating pain for 6 months and on crutches for one year.

I once dislocated my ankle :/ As I was running down the stairs I missed one step and I fell and dislocated my ankle. it jumped out and back in place at the same time. OMG how that hurt. SO I somehow managed to go down and sat in front of my college and took my sock off, and my leg just swell really much. It was enormous. SO when they took me to the doctors and he touched it I screamed. They thought I must have broken it but it even wasnt damaged in anyway. I had a plaster on for a week and was ok then. But it hurt 20 times more then sprain ankle. Another one is a migraine...ouch that one is horrible too.

The most excruciating pain I have ever endured was when i was very very young.Just about five years old. I was playing with my friends in a park when a friend's elder brother came on his bi-cycle. We got so excited seeing the big brother and we all chased him as he raced forward on his cycle. I being the fastest one, was able to catch hold of the back of the cycle and suddenly found my self being dragged for good about ten metres or so. I still remember the excruciating pain in both my knees which were badly bruised and blood oozed out and seeing it i was even more scared. But I did not cry aloud in front of my friends but tears did betray. I was also much worried for my beautiful frock. lol

Chariot race - It is one of the best that has happened to me.
You could have been hurt very badly Daffodil.Sorry but I just cannot help remembering Stephen Boyd falling down from his chariot and getting dragged and trampled upon by the horse in that famous chariot race scene in Benhur. Thank God you were able to escape with those injuries.

Toothache. You can't beat the toothache. Haha, nah kidding. Though toothache is one of the most painful-pains you can have haha. The most painful experience i've had is when i fell onto my coccyx (If anyone doesn't know what this work means- it's your 'tail bone'). I was actually pushed, and i landed straight on it- i think i've actually damaged it because i struggle to do sit ups on normal floor, i have to have something that MELDS around my lower butt haha! I could hardly walk after and sitting there was just painful enough... Blah.. i should'a sued.

You got me there! The first thing that popped up in my mind was the labor pains I had to endure for 9 hours! But now that's out of the answers, I have to say, the most excruciating pain I had to endure were the wounds I got to both my feet. It took weeks before they healed and I thought I was already a diabetic because they wouldn't heal fast. It hurt so bad to walk, that I was almost tempted to crawl to where I want to go. The day that they started healing, I almost cried in relief.

I can't think of anything much more painful than when I underwent delivery by cesarian. So far my health has been in good state so I never had experienced any surgery much more painful than the first. I had D&C due to heavy bleeding some 3 years ago but not as painful as the ceasarian! So sorry dear, I disappoint you! I can't really think of anything more painful than the giving birth I had! And I wish nothing more painful really will I experience. This is the reason why I have been taking care of my health very carefully. I want to live a healthy life in order to avoid the pain of sickness brought about by wrong way of living and eating. Cheers!

Well I gave birth to 3 kids myself. And I tell you that I have experienced something more painful than that. I have had kidney stones and that was soooo painful. I think that it was definately worse than having my kids.
