Pinup Photography

I love pinup art, photos, styles etc. my friends and i are really into rockbilly music and styles. my friend does great pinup hair and im working on my pinup/rockabilly wardrobe

I love pinup style photography and I actually want to do some pinup shoots for myself. I need costumes too. I have a few pieces that might work, but I want more to vary my shots. Luckily, it's pretty easy to find pinup-esque clothing online and for pretty cheap.

I don't really do a lot of portrait photography of any type. I just don't think I have the right type of personality to really be good at it. It takes a certain type of person to be a good portrait photographer- someone who has no problem bossing around other people! It's true though. You need to be confident and assertive and tell your model where to stand, how to look, what to do. I'm just really not good at that at all! I'm too shy! So I'll stick to shooting architecture, still life, nature, wildlife, etc.- subjects I don't have to talk to! But I do enjoy the style of pinup art, even if I have no desire to shoot it myself.
