New President Elect

I think that if he keeps some of his campaign promises,our country is in real trouble.He doesn't seem to have thought out the things he says.He says he wants to help the economy,yet he also wants to give amnesty to illegal immigrants.Illegals are a burden on our economy.Making them legal will only hurt us more.Many of them would lose their jobs because they would get raises to at least minimum wage.The reason they have jobs in the first place is to save employers money.Raising their wages would force employers to lay many of them off and they would then go on unemployment or welfare. The same thing would happen with his redistribution of wealth plan.First off,people who earn more than others have worked for it.Why would you punish people for realizing the American dream?Secondly,businesses that make over $250,000 have to pay their employees.Taxing them more would mean they would either have to raise their prices or lay people off.With the economy today,raising prices wouldn't work,so more people will be out of work. Why won't Obama make his birth records public?Why would the American people trust a man to run our country that who seems to have something to hide? Do I think McCain would do a better job?I really don't know.But,at least he has experience and an open public record.I just hope in 4 years we get someone worthy of being our President.
