Life without pets at home is boring

I've been nagged by family and friends that my pets take up too much of my time. But then isn't it my business? I love my pets. They make me so happy. I have six doggie pets, and right now five cats (two of them are still kittens). I love them all. And I don't feel bad about looking after them. Nor do I feel tired. But others feel I am tired and so on. Isn't it bugging? They even go to the extent of telling me to give away my pets to someone else. Can you imagine that? It makes me mad. Its like giving up one of our own children for adoption.

I have two dogs. One is here and the other is at my hometown. I love them and treat them like my kids.

You really have many pets at home, but obviously if you think you are happy with them, of course it's fine. I understand that having pets at home is really great, they are like kids, they can always share your joy and sadness. I understand how you feel when someone ask you to give away your pets. My parents do not like me having my dog too, as they think it's not good for me, especially when I am pregnant. But, once I brought my dog home, she is like my baby, how can I just abandon my baby? Even my dog stayed in pet's clinic for a day, I missed her so much too, as I am really not used to have her not at home.
