I know with they holidays coming up there are going to be a lot of people baking lots of goodies. I thought it would be nice to have a discussion where we could share are favorite or just a recipe that we use. maybe it'll help us shake up our holiday baking. So if you have a holiday recipe you'd like to share please do. Here's my contribution. Their call chocolate crinkles and they were a huge hit with everyone last year. Their perfect for chocolate lovers and their not very hard to make at all. These are the ingredients you need: 3/4 cup of butter melted, 1/2 cup of unsweetened cocoa powder, 1 cup of sugar, 2 cups of all-purpose flour, 1 tsp of baking powder, 1 tsp baking soda, 1/2 tsp salt, 2 large eggs, 2 tsp vanilla extract, 1 6-ounce bag of semi sweet chocolate chips (about 1 1/4 cup) about 3/4 cup of confectioner's sugar for dusting. now for the instuctions in large bowl mix butter, cocoa, and sugar till combined well. In medium bowl stir four, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. with mixer beat the eggs, vanilla into the chocolate mixture then slowly mix in the dry ingredients and stir in chocolate chips. Cover and refridgerate for atleast two hours or overnight. preheat oven to 350. roll the dough into balls about 1 in in diameter. put confectioners sugar in a shallow bowl and roll dough ball in sugar. place the balls on ungreased baking sheet 2 in inbetween them ( they will flatten and spread)bake for 12 mins. dust with more confectioner's sugar if desired. Makes 25 to 35 cookies. I hope your family enjoys these as uch as my family did. Happy Holidays

Wow. That does sound good. This is my family's favorite 1 devils food cake mix...prepare as directed and let cool. Poke small holes in the top of it with a fork...all over it and deep. Pour a small can of evaporated milk over top...spread caramel over top evenly(I usually use a caramel sundae topping)Use cool whip to ice it..alot of it..lol...then take a crumbled Heath candy bar...or whatever your favorite kind is..then refridgerate all night.....yummmm....It's a Heath cake. hope you like it
