Who is the best star trek captain?

Picard, duh. Patrick Stewart is the ultimate badass.

Picard. without a doubt. his voice..........mmmmmmm and he's just great. but then The Next Generation was the only series of star trek that I liked, to be honest.

Well, I'm a classic Trek fan, but I am no fan of Shatner's. I guess I'd have to say Kirk, tho, because I really never cared that much for the other versions. I think if I could've watched more Voyager, I'd say Janeway, when I did see her, I really liked what I saw.

Captain Kirk - of course - no contest! He started it and there are just some things you can't replace, no matter how hard you try!

Picard was more the cultural philosopher but, if You ask me, my favorites would definitely be Kirk, Archer and Janeway, they were more similar to what an explorer captain would be.

Picard was the best captain. Followed by janeway then archer. I couldnt connect with Cisco because of the emissary thing.

I also like Picard the best, because I really grew up watching The Next Generation. My dad was a huge Star Trek fan, and he watched the original series, so he always liked Kirk better. :)

Hmm hard choice... * Kirk was kind of cool, all crazy and womanizing... * Picard was correct yet really impressive in his actions * Janeway was a female mix of Kirk and Picard... she was awesome! * Archer was fun, he didn't follow much rules, he made the rules. A real hero. * Pike was brave and wild... * Cochrane was crazy :D (at least at the beginning) ...and Cisco spended the whole first season of DS9 whining about Picard...
