Do you have your Christmas shopping finished?

How many gifts are each of your children getting this year? I am close to being done. My oldest only needs 1 more gift, we're giving him a used PS 2, so I need to get him a game for that, and then he will be done. He'll have a total of 11 gifts to open, he'll have a book, 4 clothing items and 6 toys including his ps2 and game. The twins and toddler also are all set on their clothing items and they each have a book. I need to pick up a couple more toys for each of the twins to make it even with their older brother. My toddler currently has 7 gifts, only 2 of which are toys, he also has a set of dishes with the Disney Cars on them, the book and the clothing. I am thinking this may be good enough for him, because he has a lot of toys, and he's only 2 and a half, he probably doesn't need anything more... what do you think? I haven't even started on the baby or my husband yet. The baby doesn't really matter, he's not even a year, I'll probably just pick him up a couple toys because he doesn't need any clothes, although I did get him some socks which he really needs. How is your shopping coming? What sort of things have you gotten your kids thus far? How many gifts do they have to open total, or how many do you plan on them having?

In my head I'm done with my stepson, I just need to get the money together and buy the stuff. My 2 year old, I have no idea what to get her except toy make-up and jewelry. She's been asking for both for a month now. I don't really want to get them for her but I know it's something she'll like. For the baby, no clue what to get. For my fiance, he said not to get him anything. Everyone else is done. I make recipes in jars for them. I'm also making cards and printing a family photo om our pc for everyone. I might make t-shirts for the females in the family with iron-ons that I will make at home of a picture that my 2 year old drew.

I bought my daughter some play make up last year. I didn't think it would be real bad because it was a toy meant for girls her age. Well it was a disaster, it ended up everywhere! It even came with glitter which made a disgusting mess. I probably still have glitter in some corners of the house. She won't be getting make up again for quite a few years, although I think I might get her some cute chapsticks for her stocking. She seems to like those and keeps taking mine. I found some in her bag the other day, I think she got it from a friend, that's scary!

OH NO, she isn't getting real makeup just the fake plastic stuff. I might get her her own nail polish but only for us to put on her, so she'll stop begging for mine.

I barely have anything done really. I got my son the PS2 game that he wanted and a Spongebob jump rope but that is it on his gifts. I am going to order a few Ben 10 shirts off Walmart.com for him. They don't have them at the local stores and shipping is 97 cents on each item. My daughter has a baby doll and bottle and a Dora jump rope that I got at the dollar store. I have no clue what to get for her, so I have not gotten anything really yet. I will probably get a few things next week. I don't like waiting to the last minute.

I don't either. I'm excited that we are almost done. I need 1 more thing for the oldest, a couple more things for the twins, 1 more for the toddler, and I haven't started on the baby or my hubby yet, but I still got plenty of time for that.

I have picked up 2 things for wach of my kids so far, but I am nowhere near done. Each of them have a DS game and a webkinz. They don't really have much of a list this year so that makes it hard. I don't really like to buy them much for clothes, they have quite a bit of clothes already and clothes are not any fun, lol. I have bought for 2 of my neices and nephews as well. I still have to buy for my mom & dad, brother and his wife, 2 neices, a nephew and my bf. So much to do so little time.

I'm glad I'm almost done, I couldn't imagine still having so far to go with only a few weeks left until Christmas. As it is I'm worried about my layaway that I still owe $200 on. Luckily I have it worked out so that if I pay $65 a week I'll have it paid off in 3 weeks. That's what I've been trying to do since I started the layaway 2 weeks ago, and I got it down from $370. I also pick up a few things each week to add to what is on layaway. I finally got my husband started this past weekend, thankfully.

Christmas shopping? What's that? Seriously this year is going to be tough, we are still paying for last years Christmas and hubby has been in hospital for the past month, I hope he is out by the end of this week!! My kids are older, 16, 14,10 and 6. The two older boys are being very good and have scaled down their wish list. The ten year old kind of understands but still feels that Santa can do anything and of the 6 year old is living in the land of magic and make believe. We bought a couple of things for my 6 year old already and have an idea what the others want. Here in Japan we don't have the made rush to buy and unlike in the UK things don't sell out. So even the last week before Christmas we can get things. Jacks

We have made our list. And believe or not just finished checking it a few minutes ago. It won't take us that long to get it done. The majority will be shopped for online. A 5 year old and 8 months pregnant, walking around with crowds don't mix! I am taking the easy way out! Except I will get some newborn clothes for the new babe.

I can't even remember how I did my shopping last year, because as pregnant as you are now is how pregnant I was at Christmas last year, but I'm not big on online shopping. It's cheaper and easier to do it in the store for me. I guess I just did it as part of my regular grocery shopping since I shop at Walmart, but I do remember that towards the end I was making hubby take me shopping because I couldn't do it alone anymore.

I'm not even half way there, gone are the days when I used to have everything brought and wrapped up by the end of september. I actually get later every year even though I say each year I am going to get it done earlier! So perhaps next year if I say I am going to be later then I just might be that little bit earlier!!!

Yes all the Christmas gifts that I'll be giving are bought, wrapped, and mailed. I will not only, Not be giving any, but I move 2000 miles away from home each season to get away from the Christmas fiasco. I Hate Christmas. The Brazen Commercialism, the Gaudy Decorations and the Ever Present, Raucous Music that never stops for weeks on end. Oh God! Spare me from your Followers!

I have almost finished but not quite, I am not sure how many gifts mine have to open as I do not go by that but my boys were to get two main gifts because what they wanted was quite expensive and then the rest would be small stocking fillers. I got them one of their main gifts but then the second one they wanted was a kids digital camera, the one I looked at was a fisher price one but the reviews for it were really poor and I said to my hubby that there was no way we were spending that much money on them for them to be rubbish. Then I looked at a v tech one which was much better thought of but it was really expensive so I am not going to get them so I need to find them something else instead and I will get them a cheap digital camera in the sales after christmas. This year they have not got as much as last year but what they do have is plenty and they are getting what they asked for, sort of.

I like you because you are such a wonderful mother. I am still single, so my gift lists are restricted only to my godchildren and my immediate family. I am yet to go out shopping for christmas gifts because I am still fixing my budget, but I already listed some items to buy. Top on my list is clothes because this can be used all year round. I also plan to buy grocery and food for our Noche Buena (a meal on christmas eve, after the mass). Christmas is always a season of hope, love and unity. I think the best christmas present we can give to our love ones is our presence. My parents always told us to come home during this season because our presence is more important than anything else.

Honestly, my fiance and I are only starting. We were out today to look for something for his sister. Unfortunately, we didn't find what we were looking for. We have some ideas, but they just that, ideas. But right now, I'm focusing on my final exams and final assignments, as those are more important, right now. Then when I'm done, then I'll focus on my shopping.
