Do you get nightmares?

For 3 and a half months I have woken up every single night at least twice with nightmares and now suddenly they have stopped. They were never the same nightmares. I was told that nightmares are a sign of something bad happening in your life, but nothing has been resolved or changed that might make them stop.Maybe something has been resolved without my realising. Do you get nightmares? How often? How do you deal with them? How do you interpret them?

Yes I sometimes do. It was just a day ago that I experienced a nightmare, I was sweating and shaking when my sister woke me up. I really thought I'm going to drown because in my dream somebody pushed me in deep waters and I wasn't able to swim. Scary! I drank a lot of water before I went back to sleep again. ^^,

I do have nightmares though not very common. But I also have very vivid dreams. Not much can be proven in the world of dreams from what I've read but personally to me it seems the more I think (especially before bed) the more vivid my dreams can be and often times the more vivid the dream the worse sleep I get. If it does happen again perhaps try putting some white noise in your room like a fan and as you fall asleep focus on that so your mind stays as empty as possible. Also I'll try and picture only colours and not people or images.
