When someone is lying to you as they speak to you how do you feel

When someone starts to tell you something and you know they are lying; how does that make you feel? Do you always know if the person talking to you is lying? How do you know..Is it something inside you?
I feel things interiorly when someone is lying...it hurts me very much but I have not the heart to tell them at the moment that they are lying..
Sometimes I am fooled and don't know till later that someone was lying and I feel betrayed that I trusted the person speaking to me to be telling the truth.

If I can tell someone is lying, I get angry. Then I guess I feel hurt. I consider myself an honest person. And as such I tell the truth when talking to people. I would hope they would do the same in return.

Thanks: What do you do if they are lying ..do you tell them you know they are not being honest..or do you not mention it at all?

It is a really uncomfortabe feeling. I know someone like that.. sometimes I just think she's making it up as she goes along. It makes me feel silly for pretending to believe her, but I also feel sorry for her for having to lie.
