I thought this was a great inspirational movie. It goes to show that no matter what life deals to you if you are determined you can overcome. As you stated he faced many obstacles and challenges, but he stuck it out and the love that he had for his son was beautiful I feel that this was what really got him through the hard times.

Emotional and inspirational. If you liked the movie I recommend reading the book. Although I loved the movie I thought the book was better!
